• Download jenkins war file under LTS Release from here
• To start jenkins, 
• open command prompt
• goto the directory where you have downloaded the jenkins.war file.
• Run  

Java -jar jenkins.war

and you will see the below screen

Open your web browser and goto localhost:8080
